Help Support! WinDev – PC Soft – Area 51 – Stack Exchange Site

Friends join us in coming together to make the WinDev or WX community better!  Many of you use Stack Overflow as developers to find solid development solutions.  I think WinDev needs it own site for this type of discussion and idea sharing.  We have submitted the site to Area 51 and are in the Definition stage.  We need 56 followers and 40 more questions to move to the Commit stage.

For anyone unfamiliar with Stack Exchange or Area 51.  Area 51 is the Stack Exchange Network staging zone. It’s where groups of experts come together to build new Q&A sites that work just like Stack Overflow.  See the FAQ’s for more on how this process works.

So please share and help Support the WinDev – PC Soft – Area 51 – Stack Exchange Site –

RIP Zig Ziglar

Mr. Ziglar you have changed my life through your example of being a Godly man in business and in your marriage.  I am currently reading Courtship After Marriage and I know my marriage will be blessed by your words.

Rest in peace, Mr. Ziglar.  See you at the top.

iPad RSS Reader – Feedler RSS

I have finally found a decent RSS Reader for the iPad…FeedlerRSS.  This app is clean and user friendly.  Have a lot of RSS Feeds I “browse”…I will not say I read them, but I skim the content and read whatever catches my eye.

On my laptop I still prefer Google Reader.  I must say, I “browse” more on the iPad these days than on my laptop.  The iPad is just made for content consumption and I really like using it for just that!

Google Reader Backlash: A Fuss Over Nothing? – Rebecca J. Rosen – Technology – The Atlantic

Many of you know (and share) my love for Google Reader.  With the recent update Google choose to kill off the sharing between friend!  This is a huge disappointment for me.  I have really enjoyed reading and sharing articles with all of you!

After some research, I found this article which explains how the new sharing works.

Google Reader Backlash: A Fuss Over Nothing? – Rebecca J. Rosen – Technology – The Atlantic.

The basis of this is article is about how you share, but what I have found is technically you can still pull off seeing what everyone else is sharing within Google Reader.  All items which are “Shared” are now available via RSS from your friend’s Google+ stream…  Not a perfect fix, but you can still keep everything inside of Google Reader.

A suggestion for Google would be add a RSS feed from the Google Profile +1’s page which keep my friends from seeing all my pics and other junk I am posting to Google+ and allows them to see items I deem important by using +1 option…which is now everywhere!
